The Firefly was an upgrade to the standard Sherman with the powerful British 17lbr (76mm) gun. This gun was one of the best armor piercing allied guns of the war. This gave the Sherman at least a fighting chance against some of the heavier German armor though it still was lacking in armored protection.

This is the American Tier VI tank. It has only slightly less mobility than the Easy 8 so it is the fastest tank in it's tier and it has the second best gun but the lowest HP. You will hardly ever be the top tier tank on the battlefield, since you mostly have to fight tier VII tanks and experimentals, so use the mobility wisely to keep out of trouble and try to never be out in the open or a tier 7 will take you out since they can penetrate your armor with ease. In the hands of a good tanker this can be a dangerous tank. If it gets in close with a heavy it is best to try and move around to get rear shots as it will always lose a frontal match. This tank works very well as a sniper as it can dart in and out of cover quickly and hits hard enough to be a serious threat to any tank. Just don't get hit or you'll find that 800 HP melts pretty quick. Experimentals are very vulnerable to dogfighting against this tank so don't be afraid to get in close and mix it up with them just don't drive a slow circle around them. The closer the better and flanking is always a good idea. Just be sure to not ever be far from hard cover since even other tier VI tanks can badly damage your soft sides.
